Edem Blewuada was born and raised in the UK to Ghanaian parents. When he moved to Ghana as an adult, he began to uncover deeper truths about home, heritage, and the power of cultural ownership.
Blackest Star is the result: a creative rebellion steeped in Afrofuturism, pan-African pride, and a bold belief that Africa can be everything it dreams of.
